Finn Rush-Taylor studio is a footwear design studio based in London with a strong passion for fashion and sport. They work with various clients from start-ups to market leading brands such as Puma, Adidas and Axel Arigato. Having collaborated with the studio before they commissioned me to develop their studio brand identity, website and digital strategy.

Develop all aspects of the studios brand from the digital brand identity, new site design and social assets.

Fully aware of the studios obsession with innovation and off the wall approach to footwear design. We focused on creating a brand that was bold and unapologetic. An identity that felt futuristic given the emerging technologies they work with and 3D digital designs they create

Digital strategy

Stepping into success

As the studio was in its infancy, much of the work was either in flight or couldn't be shared due to NDAs. We agreed it was essential to have a website so clients could connect. The solution was to create a holding page whilst projects were under development.

This allowed the studio to introduce their new brand identity across all channels and tease upcoming projects, whilst providing a key point of contact for potential clients

We focused on designing a holding page with unique interactions and creating an impact that would tease the studios designs - getting users excited about upcoming projects. Torch cursor effect achieves this by allowing users to explore designs in an engaging and playful way.

Socials

Social engagement

We found that the studio's traction and following originated from social media. With our help, the studio developed social templates that aligned with the new brand. Designing templates and 3D assets for product launches.

Leading with content

Immersive studio home

We wanted the work to take centre stage on the main site. Aiming to get out of the way, we chose to let imagery & video content lead individual components on the homepage.

We decided to use typography that matched the impactful imagery and minimal approach while using copy sparingly.
